The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is that I can’t say no until I’ve said yes. Meaning, in order to cut through necessary commitments or obligations I have to first have my values and priorities aligned.

My favorite word in the English language is: exacerbate.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

The most inspiring part of my job is energizing communities to meet a real tangible need in their own back yard, and improving the lives of some of the least well-off in our society.
