My name is Nathaniel Prather, I am from central Illinois, and am currently a Business Management and Marketing double major at Indiana University. I am honored to serve in the Generosity Feeds mission as an event facilitator where I am blessed to see people unite around a common bond of generosity to better the lives of children in their communities!
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is:
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m Possible’ so follow your dreams.” I would encourage anyone interested in joining our team to find a way to identify and communicate his/her passion, because sharing that vision will make him/her a wonderful leader who inspires action and hope!

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
The most inspiring part of my job is learning from volunteers and hearing stories of the impact that a Generosity Feeds meal has on children! Hearing counselors and teachers share encouraging anecdotes of students becoming more focused and determined are my favorite! It is a blessing to see that when a child is no longer worrying about hunger pains in their stomach, they can focus in class and gain the education they need to reach their full potential and break the cycle of poverty!
